I'm sad to see this go, but sadly I only wore it once and I need closet space! Its made of heavy weight satin, and trimmed in beautiful fringe around the hem and cuffs. Both the hem and cuffs come to points. It has a boat neck, and I can't find a single blemish on it. Its honestly in pristine like new condition.

My mannequin is 5'8", so if you're shorter, this could even be worn as a hot mini! Pair with leggings or opaques and you've got a very hot look!

I just love the style of this handbag, and wait until you see the pristine interior! Exterior is lipstick red leather, interior is a gorgeous print with a zip compartment. Oh I can't forget, four little feet on the bottom that I have always found great for keeping handbags in great shape! I will be honest and say there is slight wear to one side of the piping. This is to be expected from something of this age. I'm sure it would be fine with a coat of red shoe polish, but I'll leave that up to you as I don't want to detract from the handbag's beauty.

This is so iconic of the 70's era! Black background, with gold, orange, and white flowers scattered. Neck, wrist, and hem feature a ruffle! And it comes with its original corset style belt. Leave as is and rock it maxi style, or shorten to get more wear. Sleeves feature a modified mutton style. At first I thought this was mass made, but looking on the inside, there is a possibility it may have been hand made. Gorgeous styling none the less!

I had purchased this for myself, but unfortunately the padded 40s shoulders are too overwhelming on my tiny frame. No smells, rips, skins are shiny and as supple as if it was produced from brand new skins. Lining has no tears or stains and looks to be silk i perfect condition. Elicits the most envious compliments! I'm so sad to see it go, but I simply look awful in it! I believe it will fit a variety of sizes due to the cape style. Oh, the best part, pockets in front to keep your hands nice and toasty! Here are the measurements:

Collar: 16 inches end to end.
Collar to bottom 29 inches
Sweep 73 inches
Arm slits 17 inches
Front pockets 6 inches across, 5 inches deep
There is a hook and eye closing at the collar, with another 8.5 inches down.

I've been collecting vintage for over 30 years and its very rare to come across a fur in such marvelous condition. Here's another item that I really want to keep, but sadly since they are vintage they just don't fit. I'm of a tiny bean head (think kid-sized, OTOH they may just have been made for a "normal" adult sized head!) They are a lovely shade of light orangey almost like a tortoise without the variations in colour, with very pale blue lens. Some very minimal scratching to the lenses due to age, but nothing that will inhibit use. I'm sure any good optometrist would be able to replace the lenses cheaply if you so desired.

Well its taken me some time to come to this decision, but due to the overflowing of my closets, as well as home, I had to do something and do it fast! You will notice prices are reflective of the recession, so now is the time to take advantage of some super great deals.

You can see my 100% eBay feedback under the seller name punkglamqueen. I am and always will be 100% honest -- if there is a blemish of any sort, you'll know about it. I can usually date vintage items within about 5 years, so you know you're getting the real thing when it comes to vintage and not "retro" or "vintage-inspired" unless the item is described as such.

I'm an ace at finding amazing deals on new and nearly new designer goods. Sometimes the prices are so good that I cant bear to leave them behind, hence the clutter amassed in my home! However, I opened this shop not only to de-clutter, but because when I had a retail business it brought me so much joy to be able to pass on a deal to someone who will give an item a good home. I love it when someone finds exactly what they wanted at a fair price, as I know the feeling when I find myself in the same situation! I firmly believe the shopping gods smile upon those of us who can pass on a bargain, as well as be honest sellers!

How it works:

I'll be posting items for sale, with pictures and descriptions. You will find all buying info within the post for the items available only through Shop Idee Fixe.

As always if you have any questions, please email me directly or leave a comment on the item you are interested in.

I only accept paypal for payment at this point, and when you have decided upon buying an item, I will contact you with my paypal address and also get your shipping info. I ship within two days of payment clearing.

The only returns I will accept are if an item arrives and was not as depicted. My items are well documented, so I can easily pull them up to see what you're talking about. Please contact me immediately if this is the case, with the reason why or any problems you may have discovered. I'm human, and I do make mistakes, although I try my hardest to depict items as honestly as possible. Sizing (if an item doesn't fit -- measurements are clearly marked) is not a valid return reason. If we ascertain there was indeed a flaw of some sort not noted in the item description or pictures, your money will be refunded when I receive the item back. All return postage fees are the buyer's responsibility.

I can't be responsible for what the post office does to your package, so if it arrives damaged by them, you must contact them to sort out the problem. I do suggest that if you are worried about a high price item arriving that you purchase insurance and delivery confirmation. This is not covered under our free shipping policy. Nor is delivery confirmation covered, so if you wish that service, please let us know so we can add it to your bill.

Essentially all sales are final. PLEASE read descriptions, sizes, and dimensions, as well as look at the pictures carefully! I'm not going to lie to you, if an item is marked a size 6 but fits like a 5, you'll know it when reading the descriptions.

Lastly, I also take consignments, email for details. (Hint: our consignment fees are dirt cheap!)
